I’ve been getting into Bark.com for a while now, and I told several of my clients to kindly add a review for me on that site. And finally, after some month warming on I started on that site last week. For a few days I was like the eagle, observing with patient, waiting for the proper leads to match my services and preferences as web developer.
If you have a min go and check my profile on that site, I feel good about it and I hope to improve and grow my presence there.
For the time being I’ve bought 5 leads and 3 has replied or show interest, and this making me very happy, cause I really need to find new effective ways to find leads and sell my services and I’ve been needing this for a while.
Bark.com works very different than normal webdesign or other services marketplaces like guru.com or freelancer.com in this case this is not a marketplace, you buy the lead from them and compete with a few other freelancers but it feels different. They offer very nice tools after you buy the lead, to get in touch with the client and ensure the lead it’s worth it.
My recommendation for any new freelancer wanting to get leads there it’s to prepare the profile properly before buying any credits package. This will tell the clients how serious you are when you buy the lead from Bark and contact the client to sell your service. Remember, selling to someone that needs your service it’s not so difficult, but you must be great, your reviews, your quality and how you approach to the client, it’s all about their business not yours, so focus on making their business better and they will appreciate that a lot and hire you over and over.
