In One of our recent projects, we have faced an odd situation where our client had a very old, HTML site, e-commerce site, with a cart build in HTML, and he requested to convert that huge static website from Pure HTML into Woocommerce.
We used WordPress – Divi – Woocommerce and were able to create a cool new site with modern visuals and functionality. We added a few products as for example from their current site and added on Woocommerce nicely, very big products, with tons of data and product variations. We also installed a plugin to present in some cases the table products with variations with no dropdowns, instead, a complete table with filters added.
We still need to continue working with our client on second phase of the job that will be possibly creating a custom PHP Scrape to get all product information, write a CSV understandable by Woocommerce and proceed to do complete product import from the old cart into Woocommerce Cart.
This another example of a new redesign, recode from old websites into new fresh websites, with modern, html5, responsive, top functioning dynamic cart.
